Also, if you guys haven't seen it yet, the Kaladin soundtrack Kickstarter has 48 hours left. It hasn't hit its goal yet, and it's anyone's guess as to whether or not it will.

All of Brandon's Graphic Audio books are on sale now through Sunday, 15% off. As I've said before, they are (still) pretty pricey, but well worth every penny.

thanks anyway, I ran through myself but the only thing I noticed was a vote that has already been fixed

Checked my machete notes. Almost all the continuity errors I noted are in Hero. (Not you, Bowen.(

Just finished the book. Didn't notice anything major.

I've already brought up the extra thug from chapter 2, and Vin's offhand mention that she knows what electrum does in chapter 5, but I'm sure there are other ones I can't think of atm

If anyone thinks they've spotted a continuity problem in WoA, Peter is going over the final revision for the 10th anniversary this week, so this is the right time to bring them up

Brandon is a shocking master at writing men who have not the least idea how to speak to women...

You guys are totally right. It might be nothing more than that. Still, I do wonder, and I'm putting this in my file for this particular crazy theory.

I suppose, but his general ignorance of/discomfort with guns and everything about them is pretty well-documented. Considering that Ranette specializes in custom bullets, like the tineye bullet that makes a lot of sound on impact, I guess it's possible he just noted an atypical metal and perhaps the weight or something...

Re: Wayne not knowing that rifle bullets don't fit handguns: remember also that Wayne has a habit of pretending he's dumber than he really is, often for no more reason than to rib Wax a bit. He could have stolen whatever gun/bullets he could get his hands on and then feigned ignorance.

That's my question. I have long suspected that there are some people in the cosmere with a stronger ability to consciously gain information from their spiritual self. I'm actually working on a theory that this is what "Luck" is. An intuitive sense of when the things around you are especially Invested, or have been touched by deity...

Maybe he could tell it was Invested somehow? We don't know what his Resonance / Twinborn perk is yet, do we? Or maybe it was just a different shape - more spiky and less blunt.

I believe we do not, though many people see Wax feeling "stronger" in the mist and speculate that it's steel to grant allomantic pewter. See... Wayne literally didn't know that bullets don't all fit in every gun. I'm not sure I can see him noticing the coloring of a bullet off slightly. I mean, if anything, he's used to Ranette coming up with all manner of new and unique bullets.

Coloring, probably. Most bullets have a dull lead tip. I imagine this one had a spot of something sharper and more refined. Do we know what metal it was?

Wayne noticed something was "different" about the Paalm bullet. Now, granted, it was cast in a fairly specific manner, but this is a guy who literally didn't know there was a difference between rifle and handgun rounds, so I don't think he'd pick up on that. How did he know?

Wow, cool. I didn't know that!

Phantom found the link and provided it on Reddit, apparently I was misremembering. They are the ones who came up with breath for cadmium.

Yes I heard that as well. I don't remember where to provide you with a source, but yeah when they started making the MAG not all of the feruchemical powers were fleshed out and Crafty suggested caloric energy. Or maybe it was the breath, or both.

Has anyone else heard that Crafty came up with bendalloy being able to store hydration as well as food, and Brandon liked it so much he canonized it? Or am I making that up?

Omigod that is one of my favorite songs! Phantom was the first Broadway Musical I ever went to. And it's got a wicked range. Your friend must be very talented. I think if I heard it live again I would seize.
