A Meeting with the Head Constable

The First Octant Contabulary Precinct Office is a large building, with grand architecture fitting its proximity to the Fields of Rebirth. As you enter, you see that the interior is brightly lit with electrical lights. At the end of the foyer you stepped into, there is a reception desk not unlike the one you saw at the Third Octant Office. However, the receptionist could not have been more different. He is a young man, awake and alert despite the hour. He greets you as you approach him.

"Hello there! Is there something I can help you with?" He asks cheerfully.

"We're here to see the Head Constable. We have a possible lead on the stabbings."

[Fishrage]

"Of course. Let me just check if he has any free time." The receptionist paused to flip through a book, presumably a schedule. "He's just about to head home for the night, but I think you can catch him. Good luck!"

"Thank you my good man. Your assistance is greatly appreciated."

Narek nods to the receptionist, then leads his team to the Head Constable's office. He gives the door three quick knocks, then steps back to wait for a response.

"If that receptionist is any sign, I've a feeling that this will be a bit easier of a conversation."

Talbert begins to grow impatient. He tries the doorknob.

"Locked," he mutters.

"Hello? Constable? Anybody in there?"

"I could bust the door down, if need be..." Rab mutters.
