For those of you not seeing them, you may need to refresh your Cache. Hold down CTRL then F5 should do it.

Yes the Thanks "Feature" does nurf the Who's online box for some reason. I'll have to look into that, next. It slapped it down to the bottom, so I think it is just a style box error.

For the Has been thanked all up in the sidebar. I think you are right. I think the point should be to highlight outstanding, or helpful posts, not become a mutual admiration society. LUckily that is just a box to tic to change.

For the name so far we have.

"Give investiture"
"Grant boxing"
"Like this post"

Any else? I think I'll start a poll after the idea has been bandied about some more.

I'm in favour of "Have some Lerasium" or "I'd spike this for its awesomeness".

Not having that in the side bars is much better =)

Still visible in the profile pages but we hardly go there anyway I guess.

I see the Thanks button now- on my computer at least, not my phone. After seeing it, I think its fine as it is with "Say thanks to the author of this post"

I just noticed something else that I'm guessing was caused by this.

On the main forum page the "TOPICS" and "POSTS" headers are too far to the left.
Inside subforums the "REPLIES" and "VIEWS" are the same.

This might be too hasty, but mightn't we want to just uninstall the "Thanks" module for now? It seems to be causing a host of random issues, and I'm a bit afraid that it might be causing some we don't know about.

yeah I noticed the collum fiddlyjibits after I had installed the mod. I am afraid it was just me installing it too hastily, and not taking care of what I was replacing. It would be alot simpler if we just used the stock Prosilver2 style, but it is ugly. The top who is online box is broken because the installer overwrote the css style for class="share_box". I have it backed up, but it is at home so it won't be fixed for another few hours yet. Then I work on finding why the collums don't line up. It's just a good thing I enjoy troubleshooting code.

OK, the collums are straigtened out and the Who is Online box is back up. Also, there is a smiling inquisitor on the chat bar that will display the available smilies in a pop up when clicked.
