The plan

Beginning to wonder if Hero volunteered for this so he could practice killing my Terris fugitive.

Lets see if we can't jump start this adventure a little- it seems to be floundering in the planning stage.

So as I understand it, your plan at this point consists of ambushing TLR as he tours the countryside- sending your armies in to attack him while your character mostly provide support and try not to be killed. Correct?

Also, do you plan to attack while he and his entourage are traveling the canals or the open road?

Let's do road: less stuff to keep track of as we die, that way.

Sounds right to me. Except that I get the feeling that any/much damage TLR takes will have to be from us. I doubt our troops will be able to.

Okay, though I was kinda looking forward to narrating a Canal battle... Ah well.

So do you have anything more to plan or shall I start narrating to set the stage?

You can make it a canal battle if you want to, Hero ;)

I'm sure TLR would be kind enough to jump off the boat to kill us, if it comes to it.

I just like the imagery of it, and I think it will be fun to have some varied terrain (ie: the canal). Its not like i have anything devious planned (well at least not relating to the canal...) But really, you guys are the ones setting the ambush, so you can do it wherever you'd like.

Actually varied terrain could make the fight more interesting, and I just enjoyed a mental image of throwing inquisitors into the ash-filled water =)

I'm fine with a Canal. I can fly. :)
