We should totally do another Futile Efforts with characters from the AoL era going against the Lord Ruler. Just to see if technology and access to Twinborn tips the scales. I mean, we came pretty close last time... sort of.
Additionally, the Lord Ruler gets all the compounding stunts, making him even more ridiculous.
