A place to do whatever, out of character.

How would it function with Herowannabe Awakening Rules

I've put some thought to it- nothing I've ever written down though. Nightblood would probably function better as a very special sort of character rather than a prop or piece of equipment. With traits/powers for seducing people to pick him up and draw him, and then rules for how quickly he drains breath once drawn.

We need a worldhopping game. We could obtain a awakend sword with the commands "Life before death, strength before weakness, journey before destination".

I think that Commands have to be... commands. As in, a sentence in the imperative mood. Go there. Do this. I don't think you could Awaken a rope with the phrase, "A penny saved is a penny earned."

Also, if Nightblood doesn't know what evil is, why do you think it would be a good idea to Awaken a thing that isn't alive with "life before death", let alone the rest of them?

Good point.

What about:
"Love people"
"Guide my hand"
"be sharp"
"Slice perfectly"
"Become an extension of my will."

Love people and guide my hand seems like a bad combination if you're making a sword to use on people...

"Defend me" seems like a good bet.
