I'm doing my best to remember and implement all this character destiny/tragedy stuff in Dying Light. Hopefully we can reach some character climaxes before the end of the adventure. :D

Circle away from Claincy and towards the bow, and launch a weight at Claincy. Also, it is now confirmed that even with Steel Running I still lose a dice for movement complication.

Well I have made suggestions of difficulty, movement possibilities etc and we have discussed them. I think we are at a point where we need your ruling on what is and isn't possible. Will, as I suggested, Xhadar be able to take multiple steps for a couple of beats to make a high difficulty throw at Ser? If so, with what difficulty? How many beats? etc. Without information on whether a course of action will even be possible I can't really make a decision on whether or not to follow that course of action. :?

if Kadrok lets you get close enough then there is no reason why you couldn't lob something at him. No difficulty, just your physique vs his defense.

I also feel I should point out to everyone that this is a cluttered area. There are plenty of things that could be used as cover. ;)

Well half the question is whether or not Xhadar will be able to get close enough in the first place, or if Ser will be able to circumvent him regardless.

What is the range of "thrown"? Ser's range limit is "medium". How close does Claincy even need to get to chuck a weight and hit him?

Ser is shooting again, while moving away from Claincy and circling around to the bow. Moving even under Steel Running is a complication, so he gets 7(Steel)+1(Mercenary)-1(Step)=7:

EDIT: So we're waiting on Claincy, but he seems to be on hiatus for now. Shall we declare this over, or does someone else want to take over the Shardbearer? Can I bribe Hero to let me win so I can post that awesome 'In case of Arena victory' post I've been sitting on?

It's kind of... situation specific. At the moment only Hero gets to see it (I store it in the Kadrok section of Dying Light).

well, I'm going to wait until Claincy shows up again. If he agrees to concede the match then you can post it, but as it stands now I'm going to declare the match a draw, both contestants still alive (which would certainly affect how you've written your victory story)
